Agile IT Service Management
While I was coaching companies that wanted to adopt agile methodes, I frequently noticed the inaptidute and inability of IT Operations to cope with the new ways of thinking and working. I have to admit that the introduction of Scrum - along with a new communication between business and development - brings along a couple of new - and seemingly unknown - tasks for IT service management. Software developers start to produce faster than the organization can deliver or deploy into production.

Agile software development is not the only force that pushes today's IT service departments to their limits. Technological innovations appear in much shorter cycles than ten years ago. The rising demand for real time information and reporting is causing the need for more responsiveness and quickness of admins, webmasters and operators. Dana Stoll, an experienced expert for IT service management - helped me to understand that the missing link is the counterpart for agile project management within the IT operations and services department.
I am glad to announce, with Dana, an integrated consulting and coaching concept, which combines IT service management experiences with agile coaching and training. Learn more about Aliando - Agile IT Service Management.
